what it is
the site you're on. i wanted it to feel like a page from a manga: paper, ink, and nothing extra.
why i built it
i wanted a personal site that felt like mine, not a template.
how it works
the panels on the homepage are one canvas. short pen strokes get drawn at random, more of them where the scene should be darker, while older strokes slowly fade, so the hatching is always redrawing itself. the moon is just the part left unhatched. the bats are a small flocking simulation: each one steers to match its neighbours, stay close, avoid crowding, and fly away from your cursor.
